Dark Grey Planter

Origin: Asia

This Shanxi province, China-made earthenware jar from the early 20th century boasts an unglazed, black exterior, tapered form, and high shoulders. Its simple and unadorned design showcases firing imperfections and a speckled slip clay finish. Not only is it a practical storage container for dry goods, but it also serves as a versatile planter for both outdoor gardens and indoor houseplants.
